Bankstown is currently undergoing a period of significant change and revitalisation, including the delivery of fast and reliable Sydney Metro services from Bankstown to Sydenham in late 2025.

The Compass Centre Bankstown project is an ambitious and innovative mixed-use development that aims to transform the urban landscape, catering to the growing demands of modern living and commercial needs. The primary strategy of the project is centered around the development of a vibrant, sustainable community that embraces two residential buildings comprising build-to-rent apartments and one commercial building with a variety of uses and an activated Ground plane. The shared vision for the project is to restore the Compass Centre to its former glory in new and inviting ways.
